Usually, around the 14th day of the menstrual cycle (1st day of menstrual cycle called 1st day of cycle), females release unfertilized eggs from the ovary. If the female had intercourse around that time, there is a higher chance of getting pregnant. If a female did a pregnancy test after 2 weeks of ovulation (around the 28th day of the cycle that means before the next cycle start) then a pregnancy test could be positive.
