for loop: Used when you know the exact number of iterations beforehand. It iterates a predefined number of times.
for i = 1:5
disp(i);
end
while loop: Used when the number of iterations is unknown or depends on a condition. It continues to execute as long as a condition remains true.
i = 1;
while i <= 5
disp(i);
i = i + 1;
end
