The bumps and ridges on the F and J keys in the computer keyboards are called homing keys. Our pointing fingers are bound to touch those keys and place the other three fingers on the next keys. This would be the fingering position which helps us to type without seeing the Keyboards. Also this positioning helps us access to all the other alphabet keys in the keyboard.
