Byopa is the traditional headgear of Nyishi tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. The byopa is the helmet-like cane hat that is made exclusively fromtasurr cane. It usually has an attachment of hornbill beakand feathers. Somewhat conical in shape, it has a protruding tail like extension that rises upwards from the base of the hat.
