approximately 1,600 to 2,000 mg To maintain normal body stores and a normal concentration in plasma and interstitial fluid, an intake of about 40 mEq/day may be needed (Sebastian et al., 1971). Is it OK to drink electrolytes every morning?

You can also time the use of your electrolyte powders. For example, have them each morning with a big glass of water or after a workout during the week. Electrolyte powders are safe and effective at increasing hydration status in those who need an extra boost.

Is it good to drink electrolytes all day?

    Paras Padhalni
    Paras Padhalni Knowledge Contributor
Added an answer on August 3, 2024 at 4:21 am

Most of us don't need an electrolyte drink to get through the day. Instead, we can replenish lost fluids and minerals through a combination of food and water. In fact, consuming too much sugar and salt from electrolyte drinks can lead to weight gain and blood pressure spikes.

Which is better, Enerzal or Electral?

    Paras Padhalni
    Paras Padhalni Knowledge Contributor
Added an answer on August 3, 2024 at 4:19 am

The total daily requirement for a normal adult person is only 2300-2500mg, if you drink 1 litre of Electral you would have already crossed your daily normal dose and you're not done yet ! Bottom line, Enerzal may be a more suitable “desi” substitute and definitely the reason why FDC has launched it.

Added an answer on August 3, 2024 at 4:13 am

Electrolyte supplements can aid sleep by calming the nervous system. Proper dosage and timing are essential for optimal results. Now, more than ever, electrolytes are super buzzy—and for very good reason.
