What do we mean by biodiversity?

    Paras Padhalni

Added an answer on July 11, 2024 at 2:48 pm

Biodiversity — short for biological diversity — is the variety of all living things and their interactions. Biodiversity changes over time as extinction occurs and new species evolve. Scientists often speak of three levels of diversity: species, genetic, and ecosystem diversity.

    Is rubber a good conductor?

    Paras Padhalni

Added an answer on July 11, 2024 at 2:45 pm

Rubber is known to be an insulator because rubber can limit the transfer of electricity. The rubber properties prevent the electrons to be able to freely move and the addition of the electrons being tightly bounded makes rubber a good insulator .

    Is glass a good conductor?

    Paras Padhalni
    Paras Padhalni Knowledge Contributor
Added an answer on July 11, 2024 at 2:43 pm

Generally, glass is a very poor conductor of electricity, at least when it is cold. Light bulbs, x-ray tubes, and many other electrical products are made from glass.

    Is plastic a good conductor?

    Paras Padhalni
    Paras Padhalni Knowledge Contributor
Added an answer on July 11, 2024 at 2:37 pm

Those materials that do not allow the free flow of electric current are known as insulators. Ex: Rubber, plastic, Dry Wood, Pure water etc. Plastic does not allow flow of current through it.
