    Faraday’s Second Law of Electromagnetic Induction quantifies this relationship. It states that the magnitude of the induced electromotive force (EMF) in a circuit is directly proportional to the rate of change of the magnetic flux through the circuit. In other words, the more rapidly the magnetic field changes, the greater the induced voltage. This law is often expressed mathematically as EMF = -N(dΦ/dt), where EMF is the induced voltage, N is the number of turns in the wire loop, Φ is the magnetic flux, and dt represents the change in time.
