To obtain a doctor’s note to take days off from work the primary step to take is see your health care provider. They will confirm that you have miscarried and determine what you require to recover, emotionally and physically. When you visit them, ask for an official note from your doctor. The note should contain your name as well as the date of the miscarriage and the time you should be off along with any specific treatment or rest that is required. Be sure that your note is precise but doesn’t overly detail.
After you’ve received the note, send the note to your company according to the guidelines of their company, typically in your HR department. Certain employers may require the note to be straight from the doctor.
