The main component of ‘gobar gas’ (biogas) is methane (CH₄), which typically makes up 50-75% of the gas. Other components may include carbon dioxide (CO₂) and small amounts of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and other gases. Gobar gas is produced through the anaerobic digestion of organic matter, such as cow dung.
