White blood cells are also called leucocytes. They are irregular and colorless cells with a nucleus. They protect the body from infections and foreign particles. The lifespan of WBC is about 12-20 days.
White blood cells have a lifespan of 13 to 20 days in the lymph system and their presence is lost in the lymph system.
