The Azov Sea is the shallowest sea in the world
Sea of Azov, inland sea situated off the southern shores of Ukraine and Russia.
It has an average depth of only 7 meters (23 feet), with a maximum depth of only about 14 meters (46 feet). Over the centuries, the sea has undergone many changes in its size and shape because of water level fluctuations.
