We can find ribosomes in mitochondria, cytosol, chloroplasts, and endoplasmic reticulum. They are small and therefore can only be viewed under an electron microscope. They have no membranes in their structure. Ribosomes are made up of subunits that are named through the sedimentation coefficient in Svedberg units (S).
